Caution Slippery When W(h)et was a project that took place at Haystack School Open Studio Residency in June of 2023. The bar served negroni cocktails and sprucetip/orange-rind tea in small handmade ceramic cups (keepsakes for Open Studio residents and participants) at a makeshift bar on the rocks beside Haystack School in Deer Isle, Maine. Over a seated bar, beverages were exchanged for “a thought” that patrons of the bar hadn’t previously shared during the residency duration.
